Mental illness is a physical and chemical effect that takes place in a person's brain; much like the way the leaves change during autumn, and how autumn leads to winter. Autumn, although very beautiful at times, is unpredictable and always leads to the coldest, darkest time. Mania can present itself in unpredictable ways and leads to the inevitable fall into the cold, dark clutches of depression. It is an unavoidable event experienced by many that suffer from the cycles of mental illness.
